France Government

France's national government has three branches. The president of France is elected to a five-year term by voters, who must be 18 or older. The president can serve only two terms. The president appoints the prime minister (also called premier). The prime minister chooses the other ministers who make up the Council of Ministers. MLA: Kesselman, Mark. "France."  World Book Student , World Book, 2020, www.worldbookonline.com/student/article?id=ar208640. Accessed 17 Dec. 2020. Further, on March 16 th  the French government implemented a lock-down, which also ended on May 11 th . In light of these constraints, many businesses had to adapt their way of functioning by allowing all or most of their employees to work from home or by implementing special safety measures. As in many places in the world, the Covid-19 pandemic is also impacting the ability of certain businesses to satisfy their contractual obligations.

France's capital and largest city is Paris, one of the world's great cities. The French are famous for their enjoyment of life. Good food and good wine are an important part of everyday living for most French people. The delicious breads, appetizers, sauces, soups, and desserts of France are copied by cooks in most parts of the world. The wines of France are considered the world's best. Among the people of France, there are notable regional differences in language and tradition. As a result, many people have a strong sense of regional identity. In the Basque region, Brittany, and Corsica, some people have sought independence from France. But most peo ple in the various regions feel comfortable having both a regional identity and a national "French" identity.   Only about a fifth of the French people live in rural areas. In the larger cities, most people live in apartments. Most French holidays and festivals are closely connected with the Roman Catholic Church. M...

Haiti QOL data

Haiti Demographic Data  Birth rate: 21.7 Death rate: 7.4 Infant mortality rate: 42.6 Life expectancy: 65.3 Literacy rate: 61.7 GDP per capita: $1,800 Haiti Quality of Life    Haiti has a low quality of life. This is indicated by the high birth, death and infant mortality rates. Haiti also has a low life expectancy, literacy rate, and GDP per capita. The high birth rate could mean that people have no access to birth control. The low literacy rate tells me that the education system isn't as accessible. Mexico

Mexico Demographic data: Birth rate:17.6 Death rate:5.4      Infant Morality rate:10.7 Life Expectancy rate:76.7 Literacy rate:95.4 GDP per capita:19,900 Mexico has a average quality of life because there are certain categories where it doesn't meet the number expected. Death and birth rates are in a good position where that shows good quality of life. Infant Morality is higher than expected which makes the quality of life go down. Life expectancy and literacy rate are lower than the world averages which make the quality of life go even lower. And finally GDP per capita is higher which makes the quality of life redeem a little bit. So the I believe that the quality of life is a bit lower than average. The data makes me think that the people have to work harder to get their needs, and I infer from the data, that not much health care or education is provided. I think that because half of the data shows us that they don't get much help from the government.   ...

japan qol data

Most of the people that live there know how to read and write because they have public schools provided by the government. The bad thing is that they have a high birth rate and a high infant morality rate which mean lots of kids die when they are born .They have a low death rate, which means they have good doctors, so people live long. But overall Jamaica has a good quality of life Citations The World Factbook: Jamaica.”  Central Intelligence Agency , Central Intelligence Agency, 1 Feb. 2018, www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/geos/ca.html.
