Israel Jewish have different ethnic groups Israel's Jewish population have traditionally been the Ashkenazim and the Sephardim, or Orientals. The Ashkenazim, who came to Israel from Europe and North America, are descended from Jewish communities in central and eastern Europe. The Sephardim immigrated from the Middle East and the Mediterranean.  Today, the designations Ashkenazim and Sephardim are less important. Israelis wear western style clothing. Israel's foods are Traditional European Jewish dishes, such as chopped liver, chicken soup, and gefilte fish, are common. But so also are traditional Middle Eastern foods such as felafel—small, deep-fried patties of ground chickpeas. Raw vegetables and fruits are among the most popular foods.All government buildings and most hotels and restaurants serve only kosher foods, which are prepared according to Jewish dietary laws. In music, dance, theater, literature, painting, and sculpture, many Israeli artists work within the traditions of their ethnic group.

 Israel's share of the global venture capital funds market is substantial.4 percent of global venture capital investment--ten times Israel's share of global output and of business credit. the total amount of venture capital investment in late-stage companies has grown in Israel. Venture capital activity brings foreign currency into Israel.  but at the same time eliminates the risk embodied in it. The coronavirus  crisis highlights how the reliance of a key sector in the Israeli GDP on a single source of financing--which is correlated with global activity--can make it difficult for Israeli high-tech companies to continue to obtain financing during a global recession.
