Jamaica is a wonderful place to live. The country has a good and warm weather. The first people to live their named Jamaica Xaymaca and this means Land of wood and water. The climate their is warm and Jamaica has wonderful beaches and Mountains that many tourists come visit annually. Jamaica also has plenty of fruit that is exported like bauxite, banana's and sugar. Jamaica was once a British colony(all hail the queen) but in 1962, Jamaica broke off into it's own independent country. Jamaica is a constitutional monarchy, which were most of the party in the parliament is controlled by the prime minister.
Most of the population has African or African and European ancestors. Most of all Jamaican business are run by Afro-euro. Jamaica's main language is English but not the type Americans speak, they speak an English named dialect. Most people that live in Jamaica is Christians. The government provides free school. Jamaica is an unfinished product, they still have many unemployed residents. Most of the Jamaican inhabitants work on farms.
